For indeed; you want of slumbers; Things are hardly what they seem. No enjoyments - Lots of sorrows. Rows, v matrons, day by day, constant getting in Hot water. Lots of 'work', but little play. Doctors, Matrons, Sisters, Patients. Though my Heart be stout and brave; With their trying ways, will drive me very shortly to my grave. At the end of three years training, What at last: - shall be my fate. Like a broken down old cart horse! Help will come, but come too late
